The client is a large family and still growing so the house must have four bedrooms, two bath, living and dining areas, open kitchen, an entry corridor, large storage room, bookshelves for huge book collection, laundry room and closet, all of them must built on 1600 square foot site. Ideas Renovating Bungalow with Lighting Glass Wall

When renovating this bungalow, the architect decided to remain the original house construction and he just focused on eliminating something that wasn’t good and adding new element that client needed. The result is a contemporary open plan bungalow, flat roof and could receive huge amount of natural light with a plain interior and paint using funky color combination. Remodeling House Manmade Pond by Turnbull Griffin Haesloop Architects

Located on the peninsula south of San Francisco was build in 1950s but recently remodeled by Turnbull Griffin Haesloop Architects. A cool manmade pond that was there before become the thing that add a feeling of being at a vacation retreat to every day life. The site consist of four buildings – the main house, study, pool house and a garage. All of them are focused on the pond, garden and pool. There is also a terrace near the pond that is separated from the interior by glazed sliding doors. The roofs conceal photovoltaic and solar hot water panels. read more
