Alviales House was designed by Materia Modular , Located in Alviães, Palmaz, concelho de Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal. The project considers the environmental characteristics and the remote horizontal line where it can be seen Ria de Aveiro, a river stream. The project contains a vast program in a contemporary language, considering an implanting area of 271 sqm. It develops in two volumes, both intersecting, one of higher dimensions, with two floors, and one of smaller scale, with a single floor. The ground floor of the higher volume is dedicated to the social area of the house and also contains a garage for two cars. The upper level is reserved for the private area of the family.

This pavilion is designed with modern minimalist style, to create a comfortable home and a fresh atmosphere . The wall and roof planes have been pushed/pulled apart and made translucent to create a sense of air and light. Translucent modern ceiling fans are produced of a translucent material, such as glass. he house is separated for public and private spaces. The private space is for changing and taking shower while the public one for cooking and taking a snack or just sitting near the pool hidden from the sun. [COOP 15]
